Bug#35718: idea for better source navigation

Joerg, 
I had the same idea a while ago ann I had it implemented, but it didnt
work as expected. The problem is that you dont really have a browser
but an editor in which you scroll throught the text. 
I have played around with it, even checked in some code, but it never
worked to the point where I actually liked it. 

One of the problems I remember was that I couldt really decide whether
to save the current editor position or the target.
