Subject: segmentation fault on startup
From: bero at redhat.de

Package:           kdevelop
Version: KDEVELOP_1_4 branch as of 2001/07/26 (using KDE 2.2.0 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot)
Severity:          normal
Installed from:    Compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc 2.96-93
OS:                Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

SSIA - KDevelop 2.0 crashes when it's started.
The splash screen is displayed, stays there, then the crash dialog pops up (the splash screen is still displayed when the crash dialog comes up, so this is happening during intialization).

Output in konsole when starting kdevelop:

[root at zell SPECS]# kdevelop
DocViewMan::installBMPopup
QObject::connect: Incompatible sender/receiver arguments
        QSignal::x(int) --> CKDevelop::slotHelpTipOfDay(bool)
KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = kdevelop path = <unknown> pid = 27109

Backtrace (doesn't look useful though):
[root at zell SPECS]# kdevelop
DocViewMan::installBMPopup
