getSubDir vs. getProjectDir

Can anybody give me a hint if we need that prj->getSubDir() any more in
the slots slotBuild...()?
I think prj->setDirWhereMakeWillBeCalled() and prj->getProjectDir() (as
default) should be enough, or I am wrong here?
