All mail is stored on an inhouse server running postfix, Dovecot etc and Kmail retrieves mail from that server via Imap, from the maildir folders.</span></p>

I know that the location can be changed via Settings >Kmail >Identities >Modify >Advanced . However, it seems that for some reason, maybe software updates or restarts, the Sent Mail folder for any identity or any user, just changes back to the Local sent folder! Meaning that every identity has to be modified again.</span></p>
