I've wanted to stay with Kontact. I've used it for years and years
and years. I love the tight integration between email, contacts and
Kopete. But I've had to give up. I've moved over to Thunderbird +
Pidgin. I don't like either as much as I liked Kontact, but as Russ
said, I need something that works reliably.<br>

Perhaps someday I'll come back. But for now, Kontact and its
components are just shells of what they used to be. :(<br>

It's PITA to move away but unless someone can give me any hope that things are
going to get better I'm feeling that's the only choice. I'd rather have a
system that ran slowly than one I can't trust at all.
