<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">I am not able to edit or add contacts in an LDAP addressbook using KAddressbook 1.3, KDE 4.1.3, Fedora 10. I am using the same credentials to bind to the LDAP server that I use for other tools (Luma PHPLDAPAdmin). I enabled logging on slapd and it appears that no matter how I set up KAddressbook it always binds anonymously and slapd is refusing the updates. I don't want to give anonymous users the right to write to the database. </p>
