A thread is a thread, no matter how you look at it. Have you ever tried to follow a thread in an archive, only to find that it splits, and there are some answers to the original thread and some answers to something completely different? It's impossible to make sense of it. Threads are meant to be followed linearly, and splitting them like that makes it impossible.</p>
