Hi
Using KMail 1.9.9. (with KDE 3.5.9.) on a Debian Lenny/Testing system,
the option to set the preferred manner of forwarding emails seems to
have been deprecated. I remember that before the upgrade I was able to
set the preferred forwarding options globally (I prefer in-line).
However, now it seems to default to forwarding emails as an attachment,
unless I manually set the preference at the time I forward via the
Message menu.
How do I change this so that I can revert to my preferred way of
forwarding as an in-line message rather than as an attachment?

convenient way than using the menu is to hold the forward button until the
choices appear, then drag down to Inline. HTH

Thanks Anne. My memory may be faulty, but IIRC prior to the latest
upgrade I could click on the icon and the message was automatically
forward in-line. Post upgrade, I click on the icon and the message is
forwarded is sent an attachment. What the difference is, I can't say.
As stated, my preference was for the former. Doing as you suggest is
not a lot of extra work, but it is a bit of hassle.
