Nope. No such tools exist, at least not on Mac but I don't think on MS Windows either.
Mac OS does have hidden support for changing the desktop fonts (through Onyx or Tinkertool) but Qt doesn't read those settings as far as I know (and can tell from the source).

And you can use different fonts for different lists?
Maybe this should be made clear in the Phab task, I would guess that most users who use customisation only went this far.

No, but I think it can override the font used for drawing a widget.
