Still a bug on KMail 5.20.3 (22.04.3) on Gentoo Linux.
KDE Frameworks 5.96.0

dates I found  in my mails:

ok:
Date: Fri, 10 Jul 2020 09:54:04 +0200

not ok:
Date: Sat, 24, Sep 2022 23:00:06 +0100
Date: Sun, 23, Oct 2022 00:09:06 +0100

So a comma, after date digits is wrong, I think...
It is not not RFC 2822 compatible.

Bur it would be nice to handle it anyways ;-)
