I've tested rssguard which provides this functionality. I'm wondering if it
would be possible to re-use its code in Akregator, as i generally would prefer
using akregator for this.

I've found the code in

Any akregator/c++/qt developer here who could estimate how much effort it would
be to re-use the code in akregator? I think i would be willing to try and
implement it if it is not extremely time-consuming...

I'm not an expert in C++ and Qt but i know it somewhat and would like to get
better at it. I'm used to C and java.
