            Bug ID: 350506
Summary: Akonadi loses attachment flag when syncing with IMAP
                    server
           Product: Akonadi
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: IMAP resource
          Assignee: chrigi_1 at fastmail.fm
          Reporter: clearmartin at zoho.com
                CC: kdepim-bugs at kde.org, vkrause at kde.org

When I recieve an e-mail with attachment, I can see this mail with attachment
icon in kmail message list. But as soon as it synchronizes with IMAP server,
icon is gone.

It is nicely described here in this comment:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=291332#c24
There is also a bug report for kmail with exactly this issue
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286692). Both are in resolved state but
problem is still here so I am opening akonadi-specific issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Receive an e-mail to your IMAP resource with attachment.
2. You should see the e-mail with attachment flag i kmail message list.
3. Mark it e.g. as "important" so synchronization of this mail with IMAP server
is triggered.

Actual Results:
Attachment icon disappears and never appears again.

Expected Results:
Once attachment icon is there, it should be persistent. There should probably
be one fixed way (for a specific IMAP resource) to determine e-mail has an
attachment (e.g. from e-mail body) and this information should be stored
outside synchronizable IMAP flags if this flag is not supported by the server.

But maybe I get this whole problem wrong... I am no IMAP expert.

I was testing this with:
KMail 4.14.10
(KDE Frameworks 5.12; Plasma 5.3.2; KDE Applications 15.04.3)
