I confirm this bug for 4.10.1 and a dovecot IMAP server.

What happens is the same thing as described in this forum thread:

New folders, like the top-level folder "Test" have a letter "i" prepended to
their name in the remoteId field of akonadi's CollectionTable. The expected
entry is ".Test", but what I find is "iTest".

It appears that this may have to do with this patch:
https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/102031/ , but it looks as if it was never
committed? (See the first commend on that patch discussion.)
