Should the plugin not load anyway, even if QT_INSTALL_PLUGINS !=
/usr/lib/plugins given that:

$ kde4-config --path qtplugins
/home/michael/.kde4/lib/kde4/plugins/:/usr/lib/kde4/plugins/:/usr/lib/plugins/
