I support the request! As I have some 20 mail accounts I, too, get a lot of
annoying notifications. One situation when I am really bombed with them is when
my provider cuts connection once every 24 hours. While the message as such is
correct, then, I have to say, that:

1. The sound is getting on my nerves and I haven't found a way to switch it
off, without switching off KDE PIM notifications, at all.
2. Other mail clients don't behave like this, and earlier KMail versions didn't
have the problem.
