1. On further examination, it was found that this problem (the failure to
retain information entered in the Address Book after shutdown and starting the
system later) HAPPENS EVERY TIME.

2. Furthermore, it happens after a duplicate entry in the address book was
created using the "Copy Contact" and "Paste" feature and then edited to create
an entirely different entry. The edited contact disappears after the system is
shut down and then started again.

3. These and other failures of KDE Kontact began to occur after the adoption of
the Akonadi architecture. Version 4.3.2. of the KDE Kontact, which was the
version before the Akonadi architecture was adopted was quite reliable, stable,
richer in features, and never had any of these failures.
