Ok, I have installed KDE 4.8.1 and after some quirks ... it seems to work!

However, there are still some issues: All other folders are still subfolders of
the INBOX, which is not the case in my webmail. And, there is a collection with
an empty name, when I look into the "server side subscription" dialog. On the
other hand, I can read my email using kmail :-)

So, I do not know. I think the correct behaviour would be nice, and if you are
willing to go after the remaining issues, I would try to help you with the
information I can give from my installation.
