Mh - I did nothing else besides what is written above, but address completion
does work now. I completely disabled Nepomuk indexers again, only "semantic
services" is still enabled.

Please don't ask me why it works now and did not before - for several months,
at least...

Auto-completion of users who have multiple addresses also works fine now.

"Not rock solid" seems to be a pretty accurate description of this behaviour...
