That sounds like a logical approach.  KDE 3.5.10 was a very functional 
desktop, and I am not sure I am any more functional w/ 4.6 (maybe less since I 
keep playing around with it).

One thing that would help a lot of us is understanding the implications of 
running KDE 3.5 software under 4.6 and vice-versa.

But, even in KDE 4.6 it still does not work!

Do we have an ETA of when this will be done?
