Summary: Optionally hide [foobar] tags in mailing list subjects
           Product: kmail2
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: UI
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: michael at schuerig.de

Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

In recent years, a lot of mailing lists have added "name tags" to the subject
header, something like "[foobar-users]". For messages sorted into folders
corresponding to their mailing lists, these tags just consume space in the
message list, but add no useful information.

I'd like to have an option that hides the tags in the display.

I know it is already possible to write filters for rewriting headers, however,
for IMAP accounts this involves downloading and uploading each message.

Reproducible: Didn't try
