When I select a mail to be displayed in the preview pane, kmail locks for up to
a minute hogging 100% cpu. This happens to mails having many small mime
attachments. It also happens to plain text mails having only a few huge mime
attachments. KMail completely locks during that time and is unusable.

I can generally reproduce this behaviour with newsletters from GMX or
StayFriends.de.

HTML mails which load their contents from remote URLs usually render their
contents fast without this UI locking. So I think the attachment/mime parser is
simply slow (really slow).
