Summary: Use less I/O when downloading IMAP-folders
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: p.heinlein at heinlein-support.de

Version: (using KDE 4.0.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Having 8 huge IMAP-accounts it's becoming impossible to work on the desktop
while KMail is downloading all of them at the same time -- it's too much I/O.

*) Kmail should use ionice (configurable)

*) Kmail should have a kind of "scheduling" to take care that not more then <n>
accounts are checked at the same time. New checks should have to wait untill a
"download-slot" is available.
