Guys, guys, give it up!

As Rapster says, this bug, despite all the votes, is not seen as significant by
the KDE devs.  In fact, reading between the lines it is clear that there is a
religious objection to full HTML in email which no amount of user whingeing
will overcome.  This, plus the fact that this would be tricky to implement
(since the current HTML implementation can't handle embedded images, including
them in replies would be a significant change) tells me that this this
enhancement will never be implemented.  If you can't live with it, change to a
different mail client.
