" Ian: I did not mean to belittle your contribution or tell you to shut up. Unlike nearly everyone else in this thread you have, as you said, actually done something about it. I was merely pointing out that there is no need to convince the developers, we've been convinced for years, it's the peanut gallery who's still arguing against this feature."

Fine. And hopefully you understand my frustration when people respond to this (and other bugs) with.. "implement yourself, or donate..."

I mean.. I have... and I've done other things as well.. but.. this bug has been going on for almost five years!!

So.. what WOULD it cost? I'd be willing to donate something - but is anyone willing to come up with an estimate of time, and a price, and then I'd be willing to even assist in fundraising efforts... but without even knowing if it's possible - especially with Ingo's comment of about three or four years ago, that this feature was going to happen.. but it's an issue of the editor being used... I mean.. simply asking someone to implement or donate or pay .. is a bit ridiculous.

And as has been pointed out, this "bug" or feature request is not exactly some "way out there" request as far as what people have expressed an interest in and also compared to what other similar applications ARE able to do.

So does it rely on a new editor, which was going to happen anyway, announced four years ago.. or what? Like.. it was about four years ago that Ingo said it would eventually be implemented. So.. does that mean another four years or more from now?

And what specifically can be done to move it along? Donate to who? Where? How much? No one knows!
