Summary: summary of filtered spam emails to recognize false
                    positives
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: tmoser tmoser ch

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

The SPAM filtering in KMail works great with learning filters like bogofilter. However, sometimes an email gets moved into the spam folder, even though it shouldn't (false positive). This error stays unnoticed, unless the user searches through the spam folder on a regular basis. This can create some annoying situations.

Suggestion: A new function of KMail that generates a summary of the newly filtered emails on a regular basis and presents this to the user for quick review.

For example, every day an overview of the new spam messages is generated and put into the users INBOX as an email. This way, the user is reminded automatically to check the summary for false positives and he is able to do so quite efficiently.

- Format: e.g. a simple list of all the sender email addresses, subjects and receive dates.

- Sorting / Highlighting: e.g. the relevance / spam score could be used to sort the most probable false positives to the top or highlight them somehow.

- Interval of notification configurable.
