    If I understand it correctly, it sounds like current versions of
    apps can be available for LTS releases of Ubuntu without the worry
    about outdated dependencies.<br>

    If this is the case, wouldn't this be a good idea to use for
    Kdenlive for Ubuntu-LTS-based distros? Is it viable?<br>
