ad 2: this has been already for some time this way in master (some
weeks). The playhead will only position up to the end of the last
clip on the timeline. I've rechecked with recent git this master and
it is the same as it has been for some time.<br>

i am doing some testing before the release with today's
build of kdenlive and mlt compiled from git in
archlinux. <br>

i noticed two things:<br>

1- the audio is out of sync with the image and this wasn't
happening a couple of days ago, can anyone reproduce this? <br>

2- before i could move the timeline position cursor any where
i wanted and now it seems that i can only move it within a
range of clips but never after the last clip. does this happen
to you as well?<br>
