renamed it. The newly created rc-file functions correctly: no more
crashes on exit.<br>

Also: the " open recent" functions fine now. I tried it with three
projects and all are now "remembered" by kdenlive.<br>
<br>
My libqt version is 3.3.6 (libqt3-headers, libqt3-mt, and so on)<br>
My kdelibs are all 3.5.5.<br>

That may be a KDE bug fixed in latest versions.
I am currently using qt3 version 3.3.6 and kdelibs 3.5.6 and no crash.
Can you check your QT and KDE version and update them if you don't have the
latest version ? You can find apt sources for latest KDE on
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.kubuntu.org">http://www.kubuntu.org</a> )
Otherwise, there may be something corrupt in your
~/.kde/share/config/kdenliverc file. Try renaming it and start a new Kdenlive
session.
