These filters are usually drop-in replacements of existing (CPU) filters, which means that movit doesn't actually provide additional functionnality, but rather computes the same result differently. As soon as you add Movit effects to your project, any frame that ever gets processed must go through your GPU, and thus all three cases you mentionned use Movit if they have to. Hope this helps.
