comment 25 : you can disable the auto-saving on session exit in KDE System Settings. In Advanced tab, session manager, "On Login" you can select "Restore manually .." or "Start with an empty session" . So the ghost process that were alive when you closed your KDE session (and thus being saved in the "session") won't appear again when you re-login in your KDE account
