plasma-firewall
pulls firewalld as a dependency, especially if it becomes enabled by default just by installing it. Maybe this is something that you could report to Debian? many thanks for your reply. Indeed the upgrade to Debian trixie installed a <br>
firewall:<br>

plasma-firewall is a new Recommends of plasma-desktop, and will pull in <br>
firewalld with a default ruleset<br>
<br>
I assume as soon as Debian trixie gets released, more users will run into <br>
that. <br>
