there are a posts recently about some ongoing development of KDE-Connect
(Nicolas Fella). This is something I like very much and improvements are
welcome.

My problem with KDE-Connect is with the file manager functionality. It simply
doesn't work well enough on the side of the mobile phone (folders not shown,
accepting files for transfer but not storing etc.). Sorry for me not being able
to explain this in more detail or to file a bug to work on about this.

A first google seem to indicate some (access?) rights for files/folders as the
reason for this behavior. But this would be something quite sure solveable
because ghost commander doesn't show this kind of problems on the same phone.
He quite in the contrary can access _every_ file or dir even (with a warning)
deep in the roots of the file system:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ghostcommander/
(delivered by FDroid too)

If you wish to know details I can do quasi everything you point me or
demonstrate it to you by remote tools. But development on Android: not my
case.

Any pointer is welcome and thanks in advance!
Have a nice easter!
