<br /><p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">I didn't even find a setting in KDE, so I can't tell whether there is one that doesn't work reliably. However when I bought my new computer a few months back, I had the same issue. This is how I solved it: I created a file 'audio_disable_powersave.conf' with the following single line content:</p>
