<div>after successfully building and installing a new system with Qt 5.11.1, KF 5.49.0 and Plasma 5.13.0 I wanted to start plasma via startkde but I had no success at all. After trying over and over to reinstall ... (I also followed the proposed way of kdesrc-build) and searching the internet for help I abandonned now and found this mailing list a last resort.</div>

<div>The problem I encountered after starting plasma via startx (and startkde in .xinitrc): I only get the plasma splashscreen (dark greyish) and nothing else happens ...</div>
