Hello KDE people.

Have been using kdar to back up some of my directories and saving the
slices to a hard drive rather than burning them. The last two times I
made backups I cannot view them or open them. This is the error
message:

Extracting contents of the archive...
too large elastic buffer or elastic buffer incoherent structure
Error: unable to open the archive.

Anybody have an idea about what is wrong?

Also, I open and run kdar as root, yet when I want to view or restore
I am asked for the password again. How can that be when I am already
running as root.

Bob S.
___________________________________________________
This message is from the kde mailing list.
Account management:
