I've always used Epson Photo printers (875 at the mo), but many HPs are supported to and many many others do too. Any REAL postscript printer with a network interface is going to work. You can also take a look at <A HREF="http://www.linuxprinting.org/"><U>http://www.linuxprinting.org/</U></A> and you should read into CUPS.<BR>

Also take a look at you distributions web site for compatibility listings. Many distros will automatically detect and configure parallel and USB connected printers.<BR>

I don't think you'll have much look get the vendors to guarantee there printers on Linux, as they don't write the drivers for them.<BR>
