<P> <FONT SIZE=2>I am using xfree4.3 and gnome2.2 (gentoo), and there is a program called xnest. This opens a new login window under your existing login and is actually quite stable. I quite like this, because if I am logged in as root and make some changes to my users, I don't have to log out or su in a terminal to see if the changes I have done work or not.</FONT></P>
