wscons.conf file as well as the XF86Config file to use the de option for
keyboard layouts.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

and have made changes to the control centre keyboard layout to use the German
layout.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

this, I can get the German layout working in my text terminal, but not in my kde
desktop.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
