Kaffeine and playing files from off the local network

Hi John,
I gather you have connection from the linux system to the NAS (ie you can 
browse the files on the NAS using dolphin)
Are you able to "right click" an avi file on the NAS from dolphin and "open 
with /kaffeine"?
I have been running a NAS with a Mandriva box for about 6 months and this 
works fine for me.  (Yes, I am also using SAMBA)

Interestingly following your post I tried to use the open and file browse 
functionality from within kaffeine.  My NAS is mounted to my file system, and 
browising it through the 'file system' rather than directly over the network 
works fine.  It seems I, like you,  have trouble from within kaffeine accessing 
the NAS using the remote protocols.
