--prefix for configure problem on (fedora) x86-64

lockdev-devel-1.0.1-1.3
kdepim-devel-3.1.4-1
kdegames-devel-3.1.4-2
kdeutils-devel-3.1.4-1
kdeedu-devel-3.1.4-1
kdegraphics-devel-3.1.4-1
kdebindings-devel-3.1.4-1

it looks likie the devel libs are there.

on fedora 1  386 i have no problem compiling kde apps,
its only on fedora 1 x86-64 i have problems.
there must be some trick to compile
on x86-64.
someone must know this
