Problem with APM

Very strange ! I have the DRI enabled in my XF86config-4 file, and I have 
absolutely no problem with the APM with kde2, or gnome (1.4 or 2.2) etc ...  
And I never had problems to awake the computer : it crashes while trying to 
standby, or it runned well ... I really don't understand why ! ;o) 
Well I'm going to continue to search, I really prefer the kde desktop !
