Wallpaper images not displaying

Then the question would be if it is JPEG wallpaper?

Did you build Qt-3.0.2 from source?

There is a change in the parameters (options) for "configure".  You
should normally build Qt 3.x with: "-system-libjpeg"

Note the addition of 'lib'.
