Just an update: 4.2 doesn't work either, and start menu entries not showing up. Something to do with 64 bit?

2009/1/19 Peppe <cerebro84@gmail.com>
Also, processes (eg. amarok if I try to run amarok) are shown in Task Manager. Notification windows appear, like the one of amarok that there are no plugins available or this recurrent warning from Konqueror: "Impossibile eliminare il file file://C:/Users/cerebro84/AppData/Roaming/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/autosave/owned_by_1.8." that is "Unable to delete file file://C:/Users/cerebro84/AppData/Roaming/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/autosave/owned_by_1.8.".
I don't remember if it created the start menu entries, but the apps
worked fine, try to disable UAC even if it shouldn't be a problem
