<p>Because it's easier to have names for things, so you can call them something. So when we send an email saying let's talk about the feature freeze date or schedule or other stuff people know if we're talking for "this" release or "next" or "next next".</p>
<p>I wouldn't say we don't want it used, it's useful, it's just "KDE Applications" is not <strong>one</strong> thing, it's lots of things together.
