I might add a few functions later on but as of now, the plasmoid is 100% funcitonal. I went with the minimalistic style because it's what we actually need. Not too much fancy stuff. The presence plasmoid is supposed to show the PRESENCE, not 1000 avatars, quotes and random noise.
So, this is my new interpretaion of the plasmoid. Hope you like. The code is in my scratch repo (see previous link).

I've decided to do this because the communication between QML and dataengine is quite crappy.
With a c++ backend the plasmoid is waaaaaay MORE flexible and can access any information in less time and is more reliable.
Atm the c++ doesn't communicate with the QML part (which is missing. This will be added after I meet with Dario to talk about some design issues etc) atm but will be done as soon as some minor things are out of the way
