thanks<br>yes i'm using as user buzzmandt, in both partitions (precise and oneiric, dual boot)<br>happens the same in both and even the error message i sent you is the same in both.<br>Also both are very recent new installs, precise being the daily build of only a couple days ago.<br>

Are you running this as the user buzzmandt?<br>

If you still have no success with this please try the core telepathy<br>
mailing list [1]. It's their component which is breaking. Show them<br>
error from that log file you posted earlier, along with the version of<br>
telepathy-gabble being used.<br>
