</div></div>I too share Martin's idea. It should be the user to decide weather or not to connect with the<br>

I think we're hoping long term to get the presence applet into the default plasma setup, that should help things.</div>
</div></blockquote><div><br></div><div>There might be many reasons, let it be personal, or that some people goes online only in hidden state (invisible) or simply because it might be a usability issue - don't do something without the user knowing it (in this case it applies). Argument can be that they will see it as online right after closing the wizard, True, but it's not something to depend on (ie. that part of the window can be off screen etc). </div>
