Hi.
does it complain about anything in /tmp/startkde-${USER}.out ?
would it be possible to attach dbx to konsole when that happens and
send me a stack trace ? it's going to be kind of tricky to do that,
because normally Konsole will be started by kdeinit, so you would
have to start a Konsole from command line.
one other trick to try is to do 'reset' and then 'resize' at the shell
prompt to force resetting the tty, and see if that makes a
difference.
