If we don't send emails but instead speak with the mentor near of<br>
every day on IRC, is that enough ?<br>
Or do you really need some mails for some reasons (I don't know,<br>
perhaps you need a written proof that we're working...)<br>

</font></blockquote></div><br>As a former SoC student, I would say talking to your mentor on IRC regularly is even better. More interaction means that problems that may arise are detected earlier and solved more easily. Before all, the mentor-student relation must be a relation of trust.<br>
