<p>Would a tar.xz'd Akonadi maildir resource maildir folder work? If so how would I transfer it?</p>
<p>Only thing is they contain some additional headers added by my mailserver. I do not believe this would be much of an (privacy) issue as my mail address is in some mails anyway, but I bet it would be possible to strip at least some of those with some awk / perl / whatever magic. It may make sense to strip status which mails have been read as well, but that won't be used by the archive anyway, I bet.</p>
